Dyslexia Assessments

How we can help

A dyslexia assessment is an important step in understanding how an individual learns and processes information. Assessments can help identify strengths, challenges, and the type of support that may be most beneficial for children, teenagers, and adults.

Many people seek an assessment when they experience ongoing difficulties with reading, spelling, writing, memory, organisation, or processing information. For some individuals, an assessment can provide clarity and reassurance by explaining challenges they may have faced for many years.

What happens in the full diagnostic dyslexia assessment process?

The assessment process is designed to build a clearer picture of how a person learns. It is not about measuring intelligence or judging ability. Instead, it helps identify learning differences and the support strategies that may improve confidence and performance.

For children, early assessment can provide valuable support during education and help prevent frustration or loss of confidence. For adults, a diagnosis can often bring a better understanding of lifelong challenges and open access to workplace support and practical resources.

Request an Assessment

A Dyslexia assessment is a structured process used to understand how a person reads, spells, writes, and processes language. It is often carried out when someone is experiencing ongoing difficulties with literacy, organisation, memory, or learning speed. The goal of an assessment is not to label or judge ability, but to identify learning differences and recommend appropriate support strategies.
